The 5th International Congress of the European Society for Pharmacogenomics and Personalised Therapy (ESPT 2019) will be held from Wednesday October 16 to Friday October 18 in Seville, Spain. The ESPT 2019 congress will again bring together leading international scientists and healthcare professionals who are actively working in the fields of Pharmacogenomics and Personalised Therapy. After successful events in the previous years (Catania 2017, Budapest 2015, Lisbon 2013, Bled 2011), we are very happy to have our 2019 meeting in Spain, in collaboration with the Spanish Society for Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics (SEFF). The theme of the ESPT 2019 congress is Precision Medicine and Personalised Health.
The congress will consist of world class plenary speakers, addressing current aspects and future directions on pharmacogenomics and personalised medicine. Keynote speakers include a.o. Prof Sir Munir Pirmohamed, Prof Ingolf Cascorbi, Dr. Lili Milani, Prof. Wolfgang Sadee, Prof Daniel Mueller, Prof Mark Caufield, and Prof Klaus Pantel.
The congress will provide the opportunity for researchers and clinicians to come together and share their research and experiences in basic, clinical and translational fields. There will be a special emphasis on clinical implementation of pharmacogenetics, following the recent Spanish and Estonian initiatives in this direction. Young researchers and clinicians are especially invited to join us in Seville, and share and discuss their input with the attendees.
Consider submitting your work as an abstract and please join us to expand our knowledge and network and make new friends.

The symposium brings together health care professionals and community members to discuss the current state of precision medicine in Arizona, opportunities for the future, and concerns to be addressed with the collection, utilization and storage of precision medicine data. Symposium highlights include:
Join other clinicians, researchers, and thought leaders from medicine and pharmacy to receive cutting-edge guidance from professionals with experience implementing genomic medicine and pharmacogenomics in a variety of settings. Take a look at the three-day agenda featuring precision medicine topics offered at the Guidewell Innovation Center and UF Research and Academic Center in Orlando, Florida.
Day 1: The conference begins with an inspiring sweep of the current state and future potential of precision medicine through TED Talk-style keynote presentations.
Day 2: Attendees will dig deeper into practice-based aspects of genetics and pharmacogenetics, including a review of the latest developments in cardiology, psychiatry, pain management, primary care, and oncology. The morning includes an update on precision medicine from FDA.
Day 3: Sessions will delve into the nuts and bolts of implementing pharmacogenetics in your practice. Experienced early adopters of clinical pharmacogenetics will provide insight on lessons they have learned along the way, strategies to overcome common barriers and tips for building a successful pharmacogenetics service.
The 1st Nordic conference on personalized medicine will take place from May 30th – June 1st 2018 at Hotel Nyborg Strand in Nyborg Denmark. This 3-day conference will focus on both basic and clinical aspects of research regarding personalized medicine. The program will consist of talks and workshops within pharmacogenetics, drug interactions, epigenetics and other factors that may cause variation in drug response among individuals. Furthermore, there will be focus on methods available across the participating researchers.
